I don't generally 'plate' foods but I do a lot of crafts where I sometimes wish I had some large, sturdy tweezers. I thought these would fit the bill. However, two of them are not as pointy as I anticipated. It's hard to tell that in the photo.The curved ones have become our go to tweezers for so many things. They are very pointy and come to a small tip and having the curve helps me to better see what I'm working on while using them. I have used them for working with resin when I want to place a small item into a frame for instance.Why do you want long tweezers? Several reasons: I dropped something down the drain and we were able to use one of these to reach in there and grab what I dropped. These help to manipulate small items and place them exactly where you want.The gold ensures they stand out on your workbench or counter. Each one of them have gripping lines on the tips so that helps to grab something and keep it in between the tweezer ends. In other words the tips are not slippery.I'm glad I got these. Enjoy.

These tweezer/tongs are perfect. Obviously you aren't going to be using them every meal, but when you are looking to expertly plate a dish, whether it be an appetizer, main course, or dessert, these are perfect. The gold color helps to differentiate from the foods and plates, whereas the silver can sometime get lost when you're focused on placing the herbs, accents, etc... The three different tongs help for different plates, so you can choose what works best for your given plate. Definitely would recommend and buy again.

This is a good set of culinary tweezers. Great for plating small herbs and other tiny items for visual appeal.

Good value for three of these tweezers. Got them as a Christmas gift for my mom and she really seems to like them!
