86 inch Snake Catcher Tongs Grabber Traps Stick Hook Bite Kits Tool with Telescopic Pole

Purchased at wife’s insistence after a coral snake or copperhead or basilisk (I can’t keep track) was spotted in our neighborhood stealing people’s hubcaps (that’s what they do I assume).It’s very sturdy and easy to extend. It has a little lock that keeps it closed (took me a minute to find it). Unfortunately it looks like it will most likely murder the snake which feels a bit extreme for the crime of petty theft. Hopefully I won’t have to find out.I can attest that it is excellent for chasing my children and pinching my wife at a good distance.

So i haven’t had to use this grabber yet ( thank god) but I can tell you it’s very sturdy and quality built. I have zero doubt it will do the job and I will feel safe using it. I know there are cheaper grabbers but honestly I wouldn’t mess with them.. there are things you can be more frugal about spending money on, but if you are possibly having to handle a venomous snake I would want to chance it with a cheap grabber

This tool is absolutely fantastic. I was able to move and relocate 3 rattlesnakes from my yard in a safe manner. This tool does the job and it’s durability is very reliable.

This summer I’ve killed 9 rattlers using a shovel and it’s a terrifying experience every time. I finally decided to buy this snake catcher and it has made my life much less stressful. I had a small snake in my yard yesterday and used this to grab him. The nice thing is that you can stay far away and safely grab the snake. The jaws allow you the option of gently grabbing the snake and moving it somewhere else or to clamp down using the jaws and essentially chopping it in half. The locking mechanism works good too. This thing also has a LED light in case you need to catch a snake at night time. This thing is literally a life saver!

With a better handle this would be a hands-down winner. It's a monster. I bought it to yank palm fronds out of the lake, and they're pretty heavy when they're waterlogged.But the handle on the Ouronehome one is easier on my arthritic hands.BTW the one for sale in the warehouse has a broken handle as one of the photos shows. Since its crappy pot metal, it would take some skill to repair. Maybe replacing the entire handle with one from a grabber would work. But I'd expect a better discount for something that isn't even useable.

First use was catching a 4.5 foot rattler at night.Fully extended let me catch it and be no where near. Locking grip works great. Led light is perfect.Seems to be well made expect to use it for years to come.

I actually use this to weed garlic mustard off a hill. I have a 20 foot steep hill full of invasive garlic mustard weeds. I stand at the bottom of the hill. I use this to reach up and grab the base of the weed. Then I pull it up or jiggle it out, to remove the root. Then I go to the top of the hill. I lie down on my belly. I use this to reach down the hill and grab the base of the garlic mustard weed. Again, I either pull it straight up, or jiggle it back and forth until the root comes out.IT WORKS GREAT!

Update—- well it didn’t last very long. It broke. It will not grab anything. Wish it would have continued to work.I love that this snake tong is sturdy and easy to use. It's been difficult to find one sturdy enough for use. Grabs object great. No issues so far.
