Works fine so far! I was surprised at how small it was at first but it's quite powerful and nearly silent. It was able to lift water easily to above my head height, so I could well believe it would reach the claimed 3m. It should be more than powerful enough to water the plants on my balcony.When submerged in water it sinks and tends towards lying with the silver label up. The inlet is horizontal and the outlet points up.The inlet and outlet have an outer diameter of 8mm. I'm using a clear PVC hose with an inner diameter of 8mm and it fits snugly.The power connector is a common 5.5mm/2.1mm jack.The pin is positive polarity (it wasn't clear from the diagram). I had a compatible power supply already lying around.

Worked perfectly for 3 days then stopped. Waste of money

Mains powered pump in my water feature died, wanted to convert to 12v to run off solar via car batteries in shed. This thing is TINY! . I was apprehensive but it works perfectly and is quieter and more powerful and way smaller than its predecessor. Very happy. Will update longevity. Only used for 1 day!

This is a nice little pump that packs quite a bit of punch. I was a bit worried when I saw its tiny size on unpacking but my fears were unfounded. Only reason I am not giving this 5 stars is that for the size, I think it's a bit overpriced. I appreciate that it has a brushless motor but considering all you're getting is the pump without a power supply, I'm convinced the price could be lower.

Excellent little pump, I've only bought it as a backup as my 2 alphacool waterblock pumps have both failed 1 in less than a month.This pump powers through both the dead pumps (they are built to allow that) and has enough flow to literally throw the water out the outlet into the reservoir.If it lasts more than a week at 45c abuse temperatures then I will be more than happy.

Do the job that I need it to do. Heating my water from my diesel heater.

I was going to use it to replace an existing water feature pump that pumps water through a small stone.I can only describe this item as pathetic junk and I have thrown it in the bin.Don't waste your money.
