Technically works, but it's clear it was made by someone committing design piracy without knowledge of how it's supposed to work. Side by side, the suede is thinner and cheaper, but thats just the start. The "cap" is too deep and thin compared to the limb of your standard recurve or modern longbow, meaning while it functions half the depth is wasted. The elastic band is also significantly longer than it should be; I had to put a knot in it to hold the string of my Bear Grizzly. Its too long for the tigercat, ausable longbow, and kodiak magnum I've tried it on as well. I wouldn't buy a second one.

Much better and much stabler than the makeshift DIY one I used. Goes great with my Timber Creek Cottonmouth. The only major downside is that it’s not adjustable. I had to wrap and tie the elastic band to get it to the proper length. The other minor downside is the hook. It looks a bit cheap. I had really hoped it’d be a bit more robust, but hey, at least I gets the job done.

I just have to twist the elastic part around to take up the extra slack, but it's a really convenient thing to have so my string isn't just loose and elsewhere.

This string keeper works good , it is a good looking piece and holds the string just fine

Low quality leather and is not adjustable. The idea is good but the actual product is not very good. Save your money and find something better.

Giving 6 stars but would have preferred a smaller electric band. Does keep string in place.
