I ordered this battery for my Dell M4800 laptop on Amazon. It arrived quickly and was securely packed. I placed it in my laptop with no problem. It is exactly the right size and popped in with no extra effort. My laptop is loaded with 2 hard drives and this battery still holds a charge for hours. I have been using it for almost a month now and it works great. I am very impressed with this battery and definitely recommend it as an inexpensive, top quality alternative to buying a branded battery directly from Dell for three times the price ($149.99 on Dell website). This battery works as good as or even better than the original Dell battery did.

I purchased this battery to replace my OEM DELL battery for my Precision M4600. It didn't snap in as cleanly as the original did, but it fits. Even though it had charge on it straight out of the box, I decided to fully let it charge over night.I allowed my laptop to run on battery only to get a baseline of its ability. It was able to get close to 4 hours of run time on a single charge. I use my laptop 8-16 hours a day. At times, I run multiple Virtual Machines on my laptop. During this 4 hour run, I had one Virtual Machine running on my computer. So the performance was decent. The Original DELL battery used to get a little above 4 hours of run time, but this comes close.So far, after about a month, this battery has been great. I hope it continues to run this well for years to come. I will provide an update should anything change in the performance of this battery.

I bought two of these batteries. One for my computer, one for my wife's. I installed both of them soon after they arrived, but was unable to give them a full workout until recently. The reason for the delay is that both our computers pretty much lived 24/7 plugged in to the chargers. My wife would unplug hers for about an hour at a time to do home school stuff with our granddaughter, but a one-hour gig is not enough to give a battery a test for how well it works.But now we are just finishing up a 17-day trip, and I was able to give my battery a really good workout, test, and evaluation.There was one day when I had to fire up my computer three different times (meaning had to start it from a complete shutdown). Each time, I browsed, did emails, and did some photo transfers and editing, for about an hour each time. In other words, I used the computer, totally on battery, for about 3 hours 20 minutes, including 3 startups-from-scratch and lots of interfacing with a wireless network.When I started the computer for a fourth time after those three sessions, I looked at my battery meter, and its said 43% remaining, estimated 1:42 time remaining on the charge.Oh, yeah, that's what I'm talking about! That's the kind of battery life I'm looking for, that I want to have when I travel with my computer.If I ever have to order a battery for this computer again, I would definitely buy this kind.

Has worked great and was easy to install. Holds a nice charge. Temperature is ok. Laptop is around 9 years old but I had upgraded memory and added ssd drive. Was purchased for software development. So, good i7 and spec’s. Good secondary machine.Battery needed replacement, so after researching bought this one. Very happy with it.Only issue has been it appears to be a bit insecure in the bottom slot. I’ve had it fall out a couple of times. Not sure if locking mechanism not tight enough or battery is slightly small and moves around.

It 15 months and it's gone. At 8:20a today the system said I had 5+ hours remaining. 20 minutes later the low power came on and required shutdown. I'm OnCall and away from home. %$^#$%$&^$ This PC has been in a docking station and never run on this battery... until today. Total waste of money. Believe me, go elsewhere. Else. be surprised.

Great replacement for the original!

It worked and held a charge....until it didn't.Lasted for 14 months of casual use and stopped taking a charge.Compared to the Dell price I guess this is okay.

It arrived quickly, and it was well made. It fit my laptop perfectly, just like the original battery. I haven't really given it a real test, but I did put my laptop in sleep mode and left it like that for two days. It had lots of charge left for me when I woke the computer. My old (original) battery, if you left it like that, it would have died in a day. I'll try to give a really challenge soon, and will put my findings here, if I remember...
