Works with PCs, ChromeBooks, and even Amazon Devices!
This device is awesome. Just plug it in and it works.Pairing with two Bluetooth headsets was perfect the first time and very fast. When I initially plugged it in to my Chromebook it immediately went into pairing mode, so I setup the 1st headset. It took about 10 seconds to find it and pair it. I pressed the button for 5 seconds and again it went into pairing mode and the 2nd headset was ready to go. Fired up a video and BAM! Crystal clear audio out of both headsets with no noticeable delay.I took off the headsets and suddenly the sound stopped. What?? My headsets have the feature when directly connected via Bluetooth to my phone or laptop that when I take the headsets off whatever I'm watching or listening to pauses. When I put them back on they resume. I put the headset back on and BAM! the show started playing again. Wow, features I didn't think would be supported are on this adapter. Cool!Ok, so before purchasing the adapter, I asked if this adapter was supported by the Amazon Fire Cube. Of course, someone who probably doesn't even own one of these adapters said NO, it won't work. Well I'm here to tell you that he is misinformed and completely wrong.First I plugged it into my original Fire Cube as it natively has a USB A port and instantly my headsets came to life with audio.Next I dug out my Micro USB to USB adapter and popped it into my Kindle Fire. Again, instant audio.Fire Cube (1st & 2nd Edition) - Yup!Even my Fire Stick with a special adapter.Apparently Amazon really has their stuff together. It sees this as a generic audio device and starts outputting on it immediately. YES IT DOES TURN OFF AUDIO COMING THROUGH HDMI just like it does if you pair a Bluetooth device directly to the Fire device. The only difference here is that I can have 2 headsets connected to this adapter while all of the Fire devices, my phone, and laptop will only allow one headset to be connected at a time.It works, it's reliable, it's super easy to setup. Just buy it!FYI, I did't give a star rating to Tech Support because I had no need to contact Tech Support (so there!)

Worked to connect NON-CERTIFIED Sony headphones to PS4 and PS5
After some review I realized that ps4 / ps5 will not allow you to bluetooth connect any headset device unless it's Sony certified. The error "Unsupported bluetooth device" kept appearing when I knew the headset I had worked just fine with my other electronics. This is a real bummer as I don't use this feature often, but sometimes it is good to immerse yourself in the game and be able to communicate with other players. Way back when the ps3 was the platform you could connect a single bluetooth ear piece to one, but apparently those days are now gone. This dongle helped overcome and alleviate this issue entirely. I spent near pennies to do what Sony wouldn't allow me to do. The range on this device is good as I can sit from across the room and it works just fine with no hiccups.TL;DR BUY this dongle if you want to connect a bluetooth headset to a PS4 or PS5 that gives the error "Unsupported bluetooth device"

It works well with PS5, but starts breaking around a month and half in
I use this with my PS5.I bought this early January 2025 and it worked great right away, connected quick, great sound quality, easy to use. And unlike other bluetooth connectors that used usb c, it actually worked with my ps5. (I plugged it into the front USB port not the back to stop heat damage). It worked great for around a month and a half, but then I started hearing popping feedback sounds after playing for more than an hour. The solution to this was to unplug and plug back in the adapter. This works for a while, but then I'd have to repeat 30/40 minutes later. It's been getting worse and worse in this regard.Still a quality product, it delivers on what it promises, (and also definitely works on PS5) but don't count on it to last you very long.

Pretty good for what it's worth, it can potentially save you a ton of money!
I truly don't understand why Sony doesn't allow you to connect any bluetooth headphones to your PS4, but thats what they do. If I bought a $250 pair of headphones I should be able to use them on anything I want! Anyway, I bought this adapter for my PS4 to use with my Beats Studio 3 wireless, and it works quite well! I haven't experienced any kind of audio lag, and it takes a minute to figure out how to connect the adapter/headphones but it's not rocket science so it works well. I had a 2 hour gaming session and it didn't drop connection at all, plus everyone could hear me loud and clear! It's worth noting that there is two modes in this adapter, when you first turn it on it will most likely be in "Music Mode." Which means that the sound quality is much better but most importantly you CAN'T talk into it. It does not receive any kind of audio input. If you double click the button on the adapter though, it will go into "Talk Mode." My only complaint with this device, is that the audio quality in Talk Mode is a little poor. It's nothing unbearable, and for a $25 adapter it could be worse i'm sure. It works fine for chatting with people, but the sound quality is slightly better than like a standard phone call. I tried having the game audio and chat audio going at the same time but the game audio quality just sounded so bad in Talk Mode that I decided to just put the game audio through my stereo and only chat audio in my headphones. REALLY though, thats my only complaint and it's not a big deal. This bluetooth adapter definitely helped me save money by allowing me to use my Beats I bought during the summer instead of buying another $100+ Sony licensed gaming headset. If you have a nice pair of Bluetooth headphones that are "not supported" for the PS4 and you just want to use them for the mic chat then this adapter is perfect for you! Definitely spend the $25! It saves a lot of money! And if you use the adapter in music mode btw, the audio quality is very good. Just can't use it for chat ;)
