Last longer than others
Yes,as Project Farm's review said, it cuts quickly and lasts longer than many other brands. I'm impressed. Blacksmithing and fabrication are what I use them for. Will purchase again.

Great price, great product
I have recently decided to get into blacksmithing and needed a forge. I went a somewhat different route and picked up an old fire extinguisher and am using it. I bought an angle grinder a few weeks ago and picked up a few cut-off discs to go with it. After opening the package for the discs I just had a gut feeling that if I used the discs for anything other than a soft material then I would end up hurt so I opted to get some reputable cut-off discs. I purchased the 10 pack and I am beyond ecstatic about these discs. I had to but through the extinguisher from the top to the bottom and then connect both cuts at the top and bottom to create a lid that comes off. For you that don't know just how thick the extinguishers are, imagine cutting through something almost as thick as an Ethernet cable because that is how thick it was. I used 3 cut-off discs in the process and I am still able to use the third. The second one I was too rough with so it burned out fairly quick. Most discs will begin to crack and snap and fling shards but I never had that issue with these. If you want some quality discs that will hold and rip through thick steel then you want these. I am about to buy more just so I have them as backup. Great price, great product, and the best part is I didn't have to pull any shards out of my body when using them!

Not good at all on stainless steel
Did use it on 16 gauge soft iron. Cut several 36" cuts with one blade untill i was too small to use it.When used on 19 gauge stainless steal, it grinded down to be unusable after a 20" cut. It took me 2 disks to cut 36".

Makes my Makita “sing” through project prep. A great buy!
Astounding buy, considering the quality and price. This would be a great “stocking stuffer” for any true craftsman, or, like me, a desirous amateur.

Works great
Seems to be well made. Cut through the medal fence panel poles easily.

Worked good for me, I like it.--UPDATE
The media could not be loaded. This is the first time I've used an angle grinder, so I can't offer an experienced opinion. However, I am pleased with how this cutting wheel performed. For my test run I cut two 1/4 inch solid steel rods. That was fun. After that I cut 3 old horseshoe posts that were put up in the early 60's in my parents back yard, I don't have a clue why there was 3 and not 2. Anyway, it cut through them like butter, and 2 of them had concrete in them. As a first time user I couldn't help but be impressed. Those five cuts--the 2 practice cuts+the horseshoe cuts--were all done on the same disk. The disk was pretty much shot after that, I could have maybe squeezed out 2 more very small, light cuts on it but that's it. I video recorded cutting one horseshoe for all it's worth. I know the video doesn't prove anything but it might have some informational value for some potential buyers. So anyway, I couldn't be happier with these, they solved my problem and worked extremely well. I see no reason why I shouldn't give them 5 stars.UPDATE: It's now several months later and I feel the need to edit my previous comment. I had stated that the disk I'd used to make those five cuts was " pretty much shot." That was a rather inaccurate statement made out of ignorance and inexperience. I dug that same disk out of my tool box months later and performed many more cuts with it, about 7 on some 1/8" angle iron. I had mistakenly thought the disk's reduced size had rendered it nearly useless when in fact it had much more cutting life in it. I try to be as honest as I can in my reviews, it would have bugged me to no end if I hadn't amended my previous comment.
