Q: Would this work on a 2018 Subaru sti for for the differential and transmission

It worked for my bmw 328i xdrive 2011 since it uses the same gear oil weight. So my honest suggestion to you is check online for the gear oil type for your Subaru model if its 75w-90 fully synthetic then this liqui moly is ok to use as long as the oil weight is the same as the manufacturer of your Subaru. I’m a fan of royal purple. I thought I’d try this because I’ve seen so much good stuff on forums and youtube. I’ve been really happy with it. I will buy it again. I think liqui moly and royal purple are comparable My 2 cents.

It depends on your rear end. If you have a limited slip differential then I would guess not. If it’s a regular type then it should work fine as it’s marked GL-5
