O-Port: Just about OK.
I bought this after substantial research for my Cort CEC-10 classical nylon string guitar, hoping for everything that the O-Port promised.Installation was not as easy as I’d assumed it would be, because some part of the internal bracing kept obstructing the O-Port. It’s not very flexible. Further, the damn thing cracked on one end.I finally managed to get it in and fit it on the soundhole.There’s not a very perceptible difference in tone. The sound does sound a little fuller than before, but not so much in projection and volume. So I am slightly disappointed, especially considering the price I paid.As a side note, I bought a copy of this on a different website for one third the price, although of the larger size. I am using that one on my Harley Benton acoustic bass, and the difference in tone and volume on that guitar is really considerable.Take a very considered call if you’re planning to buy one.
