Knorr Falafel Mix Mediterranean Style 6.3oz (3 Pack)

I was in search of my childhood Telma falafels. Through several buyouts, this is their newest incarnation, apparently. Reading the preparation instructions, I noticed there's less water to add and you don't have to wait as long, so I knew they would taste different. They definitely did. They've been greatly improved!!! Not only do they taste a lot better than I remember, but they were consistently not falling apart in the oil as I remember them doing so often in my younger years. With the batter being so much thicker, they hold together much better. It is rare that the formula on something changes and it's actually an improvement, especially when it is something you remember fondly from childhood, so I highly recommend these and can't wait to get more. I will say, at with many things these days, I think this has been another victim of shrinkflation, though. I recommend you buy twice as much as you think you'll need. If I'm wrong and you have extra... you'll thank me anyway. They're truly delicious.

We were very grateful to find the Knorr brand flafel mix at store which were taseted awesome. We would keep them in the refrigerator and they would be good even for a year.Buy them now and they are completely garbage and distasteful .. when we prepared them to cook, we noticed the change in color and the coarseness was not there. It also took 3 packets vs 2 that we have been used to for many years. After cooking the flafel we had to throw away all of them away as they had an awful taste like medicine.I have 1 more packet and a box of 3pk which we have trashed ...Sorry to say, your new formula sucks ... Shameful ...

This listing is for - Knorr Falafel Mix Mediterranean Style 6.3oz (3 Pack). To clarify, it's 3 boxes and each box has 4 packets in it. I mixed 1 box (4 packets) with 2/3 of a cup of water and let it sit for 10 minutes. I then put olive oil on my hands and formed balls. I cooked them in my air fryer for about 8 minutes. (added a pic to see my results)If I go out to eat (someone else makes it), it is usually better. However, these are pretty good. Also, they're convenient to make and a healthy snack. Would recommend and will buy again.Update 5/16: I also just made 'veggy burgers' with this mix and added those pics as well.

I thought this product was of good quality and arrived right on time also. Lately for some reason Falafel mix has become impossible to find at every single grocer around my home, so I decided to get some online. The box directions in my opinion just seem off. This isn’t the fault of the seller, this is Knorr being weird. It advises you to use two packets of the mix and 1/4 cup of water then let it stand for 10 min.I followed this the first time and it came out dry and terrible.So I made it a second time and just added way more water and let it stand more than 10 min.The second ones turned out far nicer, less dry and did not burn at all. So I will be putting more water from now on and giving mine more standing time. The flavor is really good. I would purchase again.

We were very disappointed in the changes Unilever made in this product. Flavor is bland and the texture is gone, no crunch just flour

Taste was ok, but each WHOLE box was only 2 servings! The directions were wrong as it takes more water was needed than was listed in the directions. Rediculously over priced for the amount of product.

We loved this product when it was in a blue and white box. It said it was a product of Israel and so, so delicious and easy to make. When they changed the packaging to green, they must have also changed products and suppliers because the new box is absolutely awful. It's also bitter and rancid. I tried the other boxes in the package and all the same. Sadly will never be buying again.Knorr, if you're listening - PLEASE bring back your old recipe. Your new product is inedible.

We've had other falafel brands in the past that seem to suck all the moisture out of your mouth... like an unripe persimmon does. But this brand is just plain yummy. We put it on na'an bread, add a slice of tomato, some guacamole and a spicy sauce. So good. It's a quick and easy meal to make... and it doesn't need to be refrigerated. I do wish they'd put one serving into one bag... instead of two. It seems wasteful to use two bags every time.
