Very pleased. Got my ride quality back!
I’m really pleased with these UCA’s. I shopped around for a while trying to find a cheaper alternative but I’m glad I bit the bullet and shelled out the extra cash for these. They are really well built and went on fairly easy. I did have to wrestle the driver side as the frame mounts were a smidge narrower than the arms. I managed to get it in place without tools and only a few swear words. Passenger side slide right in place. The instructions worked but were fairly minimalist. If your expecting a bunch of quality pictures or a lot of detail the WI weren’t the place to go.The control arms themselves made an incredible improvement on ride quality. A year and a half ago, I took my truck into a local place to have new tires installed and I mentioned interest in a torsion key level. They said they could do it and we shook hands. After they leveled it my ride quality went to heck. It also chewed, and I mean chewed through the new tires. Within a few months I noticed uneven wear to the point that I didn’t even rotate the tires because I knew I’d have to replace them. Turns out the tire shop didn’t even align the front end after cranking it up and they never mentioned the now obvious issues with cranking your keys up without upgrading the UCA’s. Won’t be taking my business there again. The Cognitos restored my ride quality and a new set of front skins (from a different shop) and an alignment (from the Chevy dealership) have it riding smooth and quiet again. Very pleased. Also the pictures on Amazon show a sticker on the UCA but it’s now a laser cut metal plate riveted on. Looks pretty cool.

A must for lifted 2500HD/3500HD
Installed on a 2013 Silverado 2500HD. I measured 2" of additional suspension travel at full drop-out after installed (which is about 20% more than stock, as advertised). Way smoother ride. After install, I set the torsion bars at 28" from centerline of hub to fender (that measurement only matters to a 2011-2014 Silverado 2500HD/3500HD- 2015+ has a different fender body contour and I don't know the measurement). You will absolutely need longer shocks or extenders to make the most of this. On 2011+, the shocks are the limiting factor is suspension drop-out. I used the Bilstein shocks (+1" over factory), plus the Cognito shock extenders. The instructions lay out 4 different shock/extender combinations. Some install tips: You do NOT need to disassemble or unload the torsion bars. You do need to support them at a ride-height angle. Use a silicon grease- this is all polyurethane bushings, "heavy marine grease" will do. Factory ball joint did not come out without using a pickle fork and a sledge, so make sure you have either a ball joint separator of some sort handy. Support the spindle/hub/rotor assembly before you take the ball joint out, it will flop outwards and it's about 100lbs. I just used a tie down strap to lightly hold it in place upright using the frame. I installed the ball joint bolts upwards to avoid the ball joint grease boot getting torn, they are very close if mounted downwards. You will need 24mm sockets and a spanner (or adjustable that can go that far). 15/16" is close but not it. You can set the arm alignment cam bolts in just about the middle. Chances are you'll see the imprint on the frame of where the cams were set previously. They may have little plastic inserts in them, which easily aligns the cam pins.Install job took about 3 hours, not including alignment job at shop.UPDATE: Got the alignment done and WOW, rides like brand new. I have 350lbs of winch and winch mount on the front end, which always made for a harsher ride. All that is gone, all smoothed-out. Took the truck out on some very rough local dirt roads that are hardpan washboard, amazed at what a difference these made. Definitely pair these control arms with good shocks and the shock extenders in not +2" longer over stock.

Cognito does not stand by their warranty
Wish I would’ve bought kryptonite instead of cognito had premature failure out of the ball joints and they would not stand by their “lifetime warranty”

Great product, fit and finish very good
Great product, fit and finish very good, what I was expecting from Cognito at that price. Installed on a 2015 Silverado 2500HD, and new control arms gave my front end the travel needed to maintain that factor ride feel after cranking torsen bars lifting the front end up 2 inches. Off Road Warehouse shipped fast at a competitive price, couldn't believe i got in just a few days. Great job ORW!!

These are very nice quality arms
These are very nice quality arms, gets ya away from bump stops, with level kit getting front up 2 3/4 on 2016 chevy 2500HD,, use 1/2 inch spacer on shock studs and you will have plenty of up and down travel.
