One of the best light meters you can buy
It saves time, especially if you have it set up to your remote triggers really accurate and well constructed

This is a great light meter
This is a great light meter. I have not had the time to take advantage of all the features. Did buy the spot device to help with landscape photography.

I wish I had bought one of these years ago ...
I wish I had bought one of these years ago. When I don't have an assistant and have to setup the lighting without a test model, I nail it every time.

nice meter, but I can't calibrate and Sekonic refuses to respond to customer support requests
This meter appears to have all the features I need for my video work, but it needs to be calibrated as it's readings are off by 1.5-2 stops. I have written to Sekonic 3 times seeking confirmation on how I might calibrate this monitor, plus a few questions about features that are not described in the owner manual. Unfortunately, Sekonic's customer support is non-existent. Until I can calibrate the meter, I can't use it.

Should be one star
Very nice light meter for a hobbyist. Should be avoided by working professionals.Battery hog. Old Minolta meters go forever on one AA. Sekonic will not last one day on a fresh set of AA's.Fragile. Meter has been to Sekonic twice in two years, $130 each time.Had the Minolta recalibrated once in 25 years.Lot's of settings. Cute color display. Ultimately it is a toy for weekend shooters.
