Functional, versatile and durable
The best water bottle in the market. This is the second one I have from them, and I can't complain at all. I just love it.

A water bottle for the ages
I had tried my first SIGG bottle several years ago. I used it every day for roughly eight years, and it has the dents and scratches to show for it. Since it still "worked", I hesitated to replace it, however, I was tired of constantly screwing the top on and off, and wanted a wider mouth at the top so be able to put regular ice cubes in it, and to be able to clean it more easily. When I saw this bottle, it fit the bill. I love it. The texture of the outside is just right, and keeps it from slipping in your hand. The option to remove the entire top to have a full opening is helpful for cleaning or adding regular ice cubes. The smaller top opening is great for when you want to take a long drink, or take medicine. The sip-top is wonderful for when you are riding a bike, working out, or driving. It keeps my water cold, and I love the spare, basic design. It fits into the average car beverage holder and into a bike water cage, as well as the side of most backpacks. It may sound odd to gush about a water bottle, but I feel that good design can make the little things that you use every day a joy. I'm glad I bought this, and expect to use it for even longer than my first SIGG bottle.

Three ordered, all three defective.
After trying THREE separate ones I can confidently say: great idea, horrible execution. Save your money and buy something else. Details below.I REALLY wanted to like these. They’re sleek, feel great, amazing build, etc. Perfect water bottles….except for the fact that they don’t work.Since they’re metal, you can’t squeeze them. There is a small air gap to allow air in so water can flow. When first using them, they’re amazing. But after a couple of weeks of use, ALL of them get clogged and reduce flow to almost a complete stop, making the water bottle worthless. To be clear, I’m ONLY using plain water with nothing else in it. 3/3 failed on me so I’m convinced the design is flawed, or there’s a bad batch.

Sigg Aluminum water bottle
Very light weight and secure water spout. I used electrical tape around the center to quiet the rattle when I use it on my bike.

Not for Smaller Kid
My son is 8, this bottle is not for him, the top require some strength and trick to twist open, too difficult for kid to use, it is design for Adult

Don’t let 3 stars discourage you from buying this
We already know pfas/pfos are a problem with regards to microplastics. Recently published research has revealed that on average bottled water contains just under a quarter of a million nanoplastic particles. More research is needed to determine if this has health impacts and we may not know for decades as teasing out variability in a population level will be extremely difficult, and randomized controlled in vivo experiments would be unethical. I’m not aware of research that tests the risk of the plastics used in cycling water bottles. There may be no risk at all but I figured limiting exposure is probably not a bad idea. So, with that in mind I bought this bottle. The good: the cap is not ideal, but there are unique engineering challenges given that you can’t squeeze a metal bottle. In light of that, the cap design is clever. The bad: the bottle is narrower than all of the 10+ cycling water bottles I own. As such it doesn’t fit snugly in a standard water bottle cage. I wouldn’t trust this thing to stay put during a sprint on the road, and gravel… forget about it, this thing is going to go flying. This is further exasperated by the smooth nature of the material, and the already smaller than standard diameter.Recommendations: without changing the existing design, adding a rubberized material around the part of the bottle that is in contact with the cage would increase the width, and add friction to keep the bottle from popping out.Why I’m keeping it: there’s no risk of the bottle popping out on the bike trainer. Given that I probably put in 1500 miles/year on the trainer, I will only be using this bottle from here on out when Zwifting, or visiting Sufferlandria. I may at some point see if I can engineer my own wrap (maybe heat shrink tubing?).

My favorite water bottle
I love this water bottle! Caveat: I prefer my water room temp. This bottle is not insulated. The cup holders in my car are not huge so this bottle fits nicely. I am a big fan of the sport top - it is easy to drink from without spilling. I keep it on my nightstand at night. I don’t have to worry about waking up thirsty and dribbling water in the middle of the night. The bottle is also tough. I have dropped it multiple times and the worst thing that has happened is a dent.

Cycling - Bottle does not Keep Water Cold
I am writing this only for cyclists. I ride in horrible humid weather and wanted a bottle similar to Yeti which this is in no way.. I also bought a Camelback steel - which is heavy but the ice stays frozen in the Camelback. In this Siigg - no. The water does stay cold, the ice melts. Huge difference, Both bottles are too heavy if you want to go fast but if you have a leisurely ride and want to keep water cold - buy Camelback. These are a waste of money for what they promote.
