This is a great little starter bundle you have everything you need to start straight away.good quality, good value, great service and quick delivery too.

The two wooden handle punch needles are the same size, they do work but leave the tiniest loops that can easily unravel, so I won't be using them. The hoop doesn't hold the fabric tight.The adjustable pen works great and the monks cloth is good quality.Quite dissapointed really.

I found the needle a bit too big. Returned and refunded with ease.

I've never tried punch embroidery before but like anyone starting out with a new craft (I do a few others), when you buy a "kit" you sort of expect that it will provide everything you need to start out. I appreciate it's probably just the terminology that led me to thinking it would do but it doesn't.Basically this set of tools is great for someone who already works with punch embroidery and just needs some more supplies as the one essential I feel it's missing otherwise, is some yarn to be able to have a go. I don't have an ounce of yarn in my house as it's never been something of interest to me so I've no way to more fully test out the kit to see how easy or good it is to use. However, it certainly looks like a decent enough one - instructions are better here in the photos than what you actually get with the items, as they're just printed on the back of the packets. Again, it helps if you've some previous understanding of the nature of the craft. I haven't and was a bit lost in figuring out what does what.SO you get the double hoop which is of good solid quality bamboo with the typical screw tightener at one side. The rest of the tools all equally seem to be of decent quality - no obvious defects.However, my review set only had 1 cloth rather than the 2 shown.I think if they could have included even a small amount of suitable yarn to work with it would have helped tremendously in being able to ascertain whether it's the type of craft kit suitable for a beginner to punch embroidery to buy, but as it is, I can't honestly say.
