YaleLocks 8001 Security Bolts White Finish Visi Pack (2 Pack)

These are ridiculously expensive for what they are and they are not really suitable for most frames.I bought these bolts to fit into two different types of window frames in my house, both fairly modern and designed for double glazing. I could not find a way of fitting the bolts which was acceptable from the point of view of reasonable bolt engagement, not touching the glazing panel and access to the keyhole. The bolt throw is very small ( 6 mm ), and even if I had been able to install them, I would not have been confident of the security level provided.Instead, I have found a way of installing the longer door type bolts at top and bottom, which work fine and can be obtained for less than half the price.
