Where is the manual for us amatuers
The product is excellent but it was not helpful to include some helpful hints on its use. YouTube had one marginal but helpful video.

Works well but cheaply made.
Tried it out of the box. Works as advertised, but one of the cheap alligator clips immediately fell apart. It's an annoyance to have to find another clip and solder it on. This is not a precision instrument. The tone is touchy as far as selecting a particular frequency, but that is a minor issue and to be expected for the price. Overall, a useful and relatively inexpensive device for the audio toolbox, considering the cost of a typical audio generator.

Works okay. Not much frequency control
Wanted to test some speakers. This did the job, but it doesn't put out much power and the frequency control is poor at best.

Handy lil device! Works good. You can check speaker polarity with it. Buzz test. Came with a battery.

A nice tool for testing speakers
Recently purchased a house that was wired for sound. Unfortunately, there was a wiring mess inside the cabinet and you couldn't tell what wires went where. This little simple tone generator did the trick. I was able to identify all the speaker wires and now I'm set up for sound. Great buy!
