The media could not be loaded. I don't have much to say about this box. I used it to store lipo batteries for my RC cars. It works as intended. The thing I like about it the most is that the box is not branded with a super big logo of the brand name. This ammo box is easy to open and close. The lid closure has a seal around it to prevent moisture from getting inside of it. The color is a dark black and the build quality is really nice. I would buy it again if I needed to.

It's a tough lil, tight locking box. Definitely great for securing your ammo / important items

I just got 4 of the green 50cal ammo cans for storage, I was skeptical at first thinking that the shipping would damage the cans before I got them, but they showed up in very well packaging, each box was bubble wrapped and inside a box, and that box was inside another box with some more paper. Not a single scratch on them.I filled up 2 for permanent storage, and used 2 for holding what I plan to use soon, and the seals look really good and it shuts very tight as well. I honestly can't say how good they will do for long term storage, but they look identical to the military spec ones, and have indentations for stacking them as well. The two I loaded for storage has a lot of weight in them probably 50lbs or more and they feel solid when picking them up. That was my main concern about the plastic cans, they cant even hold 10lbs without the lid warping when lifting and defeats the purpose of the seals.I am very impressed with these, and I can safely say I do trust them for long term storage.

Turned these into speaker + tweeters boxes for my jeep and they work great to keep it sealed for rain, price was unbeatable plus it’s not too heavy as I am putting speakers inside it

These Hardrock 50 cal ammo cans have become my flat out go to. The seal is excellent. Lid hinge and latch are both super smooth, solid, and tight. Have had issues with other metal cans in the past where the stinking lid falls off the hinge, very aggravating... and the latches have been so stiff you think you might not have things lined up right because it feels like your forcing it to simply latch it closed. IMO Hardrock are the best cans on amazon based on my experience of owning over 10 of them now. Very high quality, and rugged steel construction. I can count on them to keep my supplies protected from the elements, and a pleasure to use.
