VERY Good Speaker
I seldom write reviews but this speaker is SO good, I felt I had to make an exception in this case.OK, right off the bat, I'm a ham radio operator. If your NOT a radio operator (radios that transmit, that is), you may not understand some of this review.For you non-hams, let me say this is a VERY excellent speaker, I am exceptionally pleased with it.When I first plugged this into my radio, I was a bit put off at the sound that came out of it when no one was transmitting on the band, ie, the atmospheric noise. With a bit of use, I realized this was due to it being a MUCH finer speaker than I had heard in the past.People on the bands sound VERY clear and natural. It seems to capture the full (or most of) the audio range of the human ear. Voices sound natural, as if they are almost in the room with you.I run an SDR (Apache-Labs Anan 7000DLE Mk2), sometimes there can be problems with SDR's and RFI (radio frequency interference). I have experienced no such problems with this speaker.Though a bit pricy, I would not hesitate in ANY way to recommend this speaker.
