Very good quality.. yes you might get a cheaper version in a supermarket, but up close and perfomance. This 1 wont feel tinny like those cheaper makes, it most deffinafely is put together far better, looks more solid, and just has that extra something about it. We went for a 600ml which does two decent mugs of coffee. The extra double wall and quality material they used holds the heat, so doesNOT go cold and ensures it pipping hot even after 10mins.

EDIT to my earlier review below, sadly, this black cafetiere scratches very easily. Despite care, mine now has scratches revealing silver colour below which are extremely noticeable. What a shame.Instructions say that when pouring out coffee, to turn the arrow towards the spout. I don't know why they call it an arrow because it is just a shape in the lid (see the Amazon image).Whatever the case, despite there being not a single Meelio logo on the cafetiere, not anywhere, it is beautifully made (see EDIT above) just as the stainless steel one is, and I'm happy. So happy not to worry about another expensive glass breaking. Maybe, in some eyes, these double walled thermal cafetieres are not as beautiful as the glass ones, but they sure make a lot more sense to buy.I assume that the alligator clip on the spoon that comes with it to use on a bag of coffee, to keep it closed. As I tightly fold my coffee bags, secure with an elastic band and place the bag inside an airtight container which goes in the fridge, the clip isn't much use to me. Nevertheless, the spoon is beautifully made, just as the cafetiere is.By the way, I bought a little sieve on Amazon to strain the coffee dregs. Good cute cafetiere, outside stays relatively cool, the fit and finish is great. The main issue I have with it is the tiny spout, and it's not the easiest to align the top with the base.As a result I've pressed too hard and spilt coffee out of it on more than one occasion.

love this. It is strong, seems to keep coffee hot while it is stewing for a few mins. Love the look of it and it is great knowing it won't get a hairline crack or anything

Bought new Morphy Richards percolator which produced Luke warm weak coffee. R H helpline couldn’t help other than state enclosed instructions. They told me to return it to supplier ie Amazon. Didn’t keep original box so unable to return it.

Love this. I’m so fed up with glass cafetières breaking. I have had a run of bad luck wi try h them recently. This keeps the coffee piping hot and the coffee tasted just as good as it did in the glass ones. The only down side, you can’t see how much coffee is left in the pot without taking the lid off.

Love this sleek design and easy to use French press! It’s extremely sturdy and well balanced design makes it easy to serve a nice cup of coffee. It keeps my coffee warm within the insulated container.Clean is easy and quick. Love that it can with a spare filter!

Overall, I think it's a good product. It does the job and is solid built. However I was expecting it to keep the temperature hot for a little longer. Had it done so, it would have been a 4/4.5 in my book.

I'm really enjoying this 12oz. French Press. I like to change up my beans and have now added ground cocoa beans to the mix for a dark chocolate factor. So sometimes I just make coffee. Sometimes I make hot cocoa. Sometimes I mix them before brewing. I don't waste anything with this size. It's just me wanting the brew, so it's enough. I still have a bigger one if I want to store some in the fridge or for company but this little guy is my go to. Would purchase again.
