The smell was very bad smelled like a dead animal still had chunks of flesh in it. I scraped it out and it still smells bed. Maybe it was a accident but I dont know.Would probably buy from someone else next time.If it's measured straight from top to end it measures 20 inches. The longest measurement I can get is following the outside curve and it's only 23in so close.

I loved it! I wish they would have specified if the mouthpiece would be wide or narrow. This mouthpiece was narrow and i was hoping for a wider mouth for easier blow. But we still love it. The horn is beautiful!
