2 more specifically answer your question about low volume headphones Colin these are headphones that do have a high end and the low end with a great distance between them so you do get a lot of variety between the low volume and the high volume. Whereas the high volume does give you a lot of bass I found that the travel tended this grounded out a little bit Tama and the low end volume was quite clear without distorting or masking any sounds either. Over all I thought it was a decent attempt at a good Bluetooth headset with modern Bluetooth technology. I give it 4 out of 5 stars

It will block some of it because it blocks your ears, but the noise cancelling feature will only block continuous noise like a fan, refrigerator, or airplane engine. An over-the-ear headset would do a better job, but I'd advise you to just get a quieter keyboard. Logitech has some nice ones.
