Our original Denon remote control was failing, in that the volume control seemed like it was operating at 10% power. It would take forever to respond, and then jump up or down way too much if I held the button. This remote solved that problem and works like it should.

This remote worked for about two months until the power button stopped working. That was annoying but at least I could still mute obnoxious commercials without getting off the couch. Then, about a month after that, the whole thing stopped working. Not a single button on the remote emits any kind of IR output at all now -- even with a brand new set of batteries.It seems you get what you pay for in this instance. Don't be like me; go ahead and spend the extra couple bucks to get a higher quality product so you don't end up ultimately having to buy two.

This is the second one that I have bought,the first one I bought lasted 3 years which isn't too bad for less than $7

This replaces the 10 yr old remote for my Denon amp. Works just like the original.

Quality is ok, but than the price.
