5 Pack ESP32-CAM WiFi + Bluetooth Module Development Board with OV2640 Camera Modulew for Arduino Raspberry Pi

Works as described.

I wanted some cheap cameras to use with Home Assistant and this was the ticket. The built-in wifi antenna isn't great, but they do have a port to plug in an external antenna (move the "jumper" first). the picture quality also isn't great, but acceptable for such a cheap camera

The programmers don't seem to work either, I have other Ai Thinkers and they program fine with a FTDI, but putting them onto these doesn't do anything.

The esp32-cam-mb board is handy although I did not try it on another esp32-cam. 2 problems with both these esp32s.1. The cameras only work intermittently. I tried slower frequency and it made no difference. Removing IO0 pin made no difference. I happened to have a camera from another esp32-cam and it works fine with these esp32s. When working, I noticed the field of view is narrower than other ones I have. The other ones are about 120 degrees. Also, image is upside down.2. There is a problem with the esp32-cam IO0 pin. It boots and programs with theEsp32-cam-mb board but it will not boot or program when using an FTDI adapter. It will only operate using the mb board.

All but 1 of my boards did work, but 2 of the include cameras did not work, however, given the price, no big deal. Here is my recommendation, ONLY IF the price of ESP32-S boards without USB are cheaper) don't buy these for the camera capability... rather buy them as cheap ESP32-S boards, that might have potential video capabilities that you probably won't ever actually want to use, then you might be ok. The camera quality is very low, and the sensor size is quite small, meaning really, really dark images unless you have a lot of back-lighting. Don't even consider these for low-light use.They also have no USB connection, which means they don't have a USB-UART chip included like a FT232RL or CH340G, meaning you have to buy a USB-Serial adapter.

They work great with a good bit of lighting. They were also cheaply priced so I bought quiet afew. They can be hard to program if you don't have a programmer and the software to put on them. Look on YouTube and the website from the manufacturer and you'll love them too

These are great devices. I needed a device that had an external antenna connection as well as the sdcard capabilities and I only needed 1 gpio pin for my application so these cards are perfect. They work great and so I had to buy more. Offering a 5 pack was a great idea. Keep up the good work!

Good price but not so much when you subtract failures.1 was bad out of the box, it had exposed traces and bad solder. It started smoking when i went to flash it.1 more got extremely hot and started melting the PLA case I made for it.The other 3 running the same code are working just fine. One of the camera modules was worse than the others so I just swapped it.
