Fantastic historical chess set... only there is no queen.
I love this chess set. The only complaint I get from my family is that there is no queen. I tell them to use their imagination and not assume it’s a man under that armor! It looks beautiful. The pieces feel weighty when you play with them. We use the Maltese cross board which adds to the fun.

We love them. They are very cool looking and make our chess games fun!!

Came sooner than expected
The media could not be loaded. These have good weight to them and feel nice in your hand as you move the pieces across the board. I commissioned a chess board to be made for my husbands birthday and got these pieces for it and they are perfect. The only draw back so far is that the felt on the bottom doesn’t cover the entire base of the piece.
