5 Stars? You betcha! My old Echo died after ten years. Just would not start.. So, I bought a new OEM carb and installed it in 15 minutes. I did not buy new gaskets. The old one to the intake was fine. Installed it and Pulled the cord twice and she fired right up.. Back to life!! I adjusted the idle down just a tad and she runs perfect. Not saying that 11.99 aftermarket carb's aren't perfect. But I can say,they wont last as long as a Walbro! Buy OEM and never look back!!!

Friend of mine spent $500 on Echo 755 leaf blower. Always was finicky since new and after two seasons would bog down as soon as you came off of idle and gave it any gas. I spent two hours cleaning and troubleshooting (unit looked brand new - fresh gas) and eventually determined that internal jet screws (sealed inside the carb - unserviceable) were messed up.Researched which carb to buy and ordered this OEM part. I swapped the carb out in less than 5 minutes and it literally started first pull. Full throttle control all the way to wide open.Don't waste time trying to rebuild these newer carburetors (ESPECIALLY if it is barely used) because you can't get to the mixture screw that is the root of the problem. It is now sealed (used to have a plug you could remove to get to it) and set so lean that they are right on the edge when brand new and will never get better. This carburetor comes straight from Walbro. It has not been modified (leaned out) by Echo.Rebuild kit costs $15 plus time and hassle that may or may not fix it. New carb cost $39.95 and blower is literally better than new in the time it takes you to swap it out.
