Perfect sediment bowl conversion piece
I have a late 60's Cub Cadet 104 that had a sediment bowl at the bottom of the tank. It has been leaking slightly for about a year now, but finally decided to do something about it when I found the tank bone dry. There are replacement sediment bowls available, but I didn't feel the need to preserve the antique-ness of the tractor when it comes to reliability. This petcock fit the bottom of the tank perfectly (1/8" NPT). It operates easily and doesn't leak fuel. Cant ask for more at this price point.

Threads into existing gas cap will use to make an extended gas tank

Works as it should
Good shutoff valve with a good filter. Does what it's supposed to do but would rather have a quarter turn ball valve with lever type handle instead of the stamped wing for turning it on and off. Couldn't fine one of those with the appropriate threads so will use this one for now.
