Outdoor Research Men's Sombriolet Sun Hat Sun Hat

This is a great hat. Size L is a snug fit on my 58 head at limits of drawcord. If your rucsac is festooned with radios having long aerials, then there can be some conflicts with the brim, but that's not specifically an issue with this hat. I love it and wouldn't wear anything else on a blazing hot sunny day.

Provides full cover from the sun,nice and light and comfortable too. Great hat.

I would have loved a more generous size (I chose the medium based on the description and sizing tool on the manufacturer's website). Otherwise, a very good hat.

This hat is perfect for the job. It fits as it should and its extra wide brim offers a lot of protection from the sun. It has well placed mesh inserts to allow a bit of air circulation. I've looked at other sun hats and none are as good.

worn on a 18 day trip down the grand canyon... this was one of the best brings... kept head cool from the sun and secure enough to stay on for the rapids... great quality..

Good fit, even without using the drawcord. Haven't had to use the chinstrap yet so have it tucked up inside.NB: after washing, when still damp, put things on the brim to keep it from going too wonky.
