Q: How do i keep this from color fading? Is there a spray for vinyl?

I would contact the supplier…vinyl wraps have a life span of about 4-5 years…You could try a vinyl protectant like Aerospace 303 Protectant. It’s probably the best on the market.

Q: Do I have to use a heat gun

A hair dryer can work but it’s slower. Heat guns can be too hot though as well. Supplier can direct you on exact specifics. An adjustable temp heat gun with a wide defuser it hood with care. Always refer to suppliers direction.

Q: Can it be used on a dashboard?

Sure! *as long as you prep it properly and your dash isn't cracked really bad. Make certain your dash is clean - dust & grease free before you apply the vynl. Take your time to plan your layout. I applied it to my motorcycle helmet. It was tricky but it came out pretty good for my first effort.

Q: Will this stick to a none smooth surface? Like in the soft part of a door panel.

Are you referring to placing it over leather, cloth, etc? If so, I don't know the answer to that. I placed it over the hard plastic pieces (center dash, trim panel, etc.).
