Talking Alarm Clock with Temperature, Female Voice

Perfect for distracted OCD or Adult attention deficit disorder. I purchased 2 clocks from Amazon, the "TALKiNG Alarm", and this one. The Verbalise talking alarm has a loud volume, especially compared to the TALKiNG alarm clock brand which is barley audible. This little yellow lightweight clock is well made unlike the made in China plastic clocks. Every function works at a 5 star rating exactly as described. The only thing that would make this clock better is a USB port and charging cable, that way the Verbalise company could put a brighter backlight in this model and allow the batteries to be used only when needed. My favorite functions are the hourly announcement of time and date/temp display included. Also, the hourly chime that can be set as a talking function is only available from 6:00 a.m. To 9:00 p.m. Not sure why the company would limit that function. Overall, buy it, its a great product! Bright and cheery color unlike the drab TALKiNG Alarm clock brand.

Cheaply made. Worked fine for about 2 months, but stopped talking when pressing the button(s) to activate the voice. I wish I could get an old-school blue & grey datexx talking clock again. That thing lasted for years...

Female voice is a bit jarring and sharp.

My husband doesn't see very well, so he needed this clock. Just wished it told the time on the hour rather than the music.

Clock still knows the time, but can't tell you the time. I liked this clock overall, nice sized button for mom and talked clearly. Simple, but did everything I needed. 6 months later and it will still display the time, but the voice doesn't work. Can't return so it's a waste of a $20 bill.

I purchased this for a patient, who needed the ability to know what time it was, and was legally blind. This was a hit and even more so since she could put it in her walker and take it with her. The only difficulty we had was knowing where to push for the time. I placed a piece of Velcro on the button and that solved the problem.

It's okay... That being said. It says and repeats the time and temp. on the hr. I can set to not play for sleeping hours. BUT there is no volume control and she really needs to be turned down. My Grand daughter head it and wrinkled up her nose and said she liked Gr Grandpa's better. So I have to look for one of those.
