My doctor actually referred me to Birkenstocks for my arch issue and metatarsal issue ( with a side of your pain from recent plantar fasciitis). The company instructs you to wear these a minimum of two hours a day the first few days to allow your feet to become accustomed to the support. I found that.:1. The pain in my heel from the plantar fasciitis was gone after a couple of weeks I tried to sneak back to my regular sandals, and the pain came back. Switched over to my Birkenstocks, Pain was gone the next morning. Wow!!2. No more metatarsal pain no more ankle pain no more hip/ back pain! I believe these all were issues relating to the metatarsal and arch.3 I was so reluctant because I thought this would be clunky , Hippie shoes, but I was inspired by the new styles, which have dinner straps, and looks super cute. I have since bought two other pair, and I am loving them!4. My doctor was correct, these shoes have resolved My issues! Highly recommend for anyone who has metatarsal, plantar fascitis, fallen arch, or hip and back pain. Love these shoes!

Everything I have to say about these are Birkenstock Sandals is positive. I’ve had these for about two weeks now and I know it’s safe for me to say I can wear these all day long without any knee pain or back pain. They are so comfortable and easy for me to walk in; and it’s great to be pain free from areas that have been hurting you for years. I definitely will be buying again and I recommend that they are definitely so far worth their money. Got mine at an on sale price.

Hmmm. I ordered these after buying 2 !pairs of Birkenstock Madrids. I don't usually buy but 1-2 pairs of sandals a year, so getting 3 pairs of BStocks felt pretty decadent. Still, no guilt is what I report & here is why: I ordered the Mayari after finding the Madrid slides great for arch support & fit & sexy,too. But, Madrids do flop in the way a slide with one single strap will flop, making a little smacking sound as you walk. So, having learned from the Madrids that Birkenstocks need not be clunky, I gambled on the Mayari. I was looking for all that's great about the Madrid PLUS a different feel on the foot. I promised myself I'd return these if I did not truly love them. But these sandals are keepers! I feel very secure in the Mayari due to the 2 foot-spanning straps and the comfortable hold on my big toe. I may wear these over the Madrids on days when I've got a lot of walking planned, or don't want to hear my sandals talk, even quietly.as I walk. I find these very feminine because of the narrow straps. Color is wonderfully neutral, brown with some shine. No brassiness. Yep, love 'em. (I ordered 1 size down & narrower.)

nice sandals but realizing I need size 8.5 for open toe shoes and size 9, only for closed toe, boot, clog or sneakers. especially with sandals that are similar to Birkenstock's, because these had the heel cup, arch support as well as the toe demarcation. so it wouldn't feel good to wear a mismatched size with this type of sandal, especially for all day, out and about. you should really measure your feet for an accurate fit.

I bought these for my dad as we have purchased many knock off birks and he of course, loves these the most! He will be wearing them for years just like I do mine! True to size

Was to big for me. I've been a size 7 all my life and it was to big. Returned them.

These made a nice gift. Comfortable design, nice thick leather straps that don't hurt your feet, easy to walk in.
