Handy and quality
This unit feels good from the moment you pull it out of the package. All the features it has makes it very handy for trouble shooting.

Pretty good
Great for service work, but the battery dies pretty quick

I'm partial to Fluke
Price was right, and it's a Fluke. I use Fluke exclusively for Multimeters, Temp, and IRCons: Agree with reviews as far as having a rechargeable battery. I bought an extra battery.

Great start, documentation tools are lacking even reasonable reporting quality.
I spent some time with the Fluke engineers on this one. The Fluke Connect is a great idea and from a field prospective works pretty well. You can see what the meter sees on your iPhone screen. You can capture data and photos and send it to the Flule Connect website. The issue is the reporting capabilities are super weak. Even the Fluke engineers admitted it was lacking. I have been using Fluke products for over 30 years. Some of the software for the meters is fantastic, like the the Fluke 1735 and 1736. Very useful. Unfortunately this product does not have the same quality. It is a shame too. I really could use something like this but I am not willing to invest thousands on replacing my other Fluke meters with the FC type when the reporting is so weak. The front end is great, the back end no bueno! I hope this helps and I hope Fluke fixes the issue.

Almost a good tool - it misses a critical feature
Great tool, works like a charm, but it has a missing feature - it can't do thermal coupler measurement on top of the thermal imager. Please note that I am giving this review from an electrical engineering perspective.Thermal measurement is the most notable feature. However, the IR camera can only offer accuracy of +/- 5degC. That's too inaccurate for my application (server system hardware design), and possibly so for whatever application that justifies buying a $1000 meter for it. For comparison, a Fluke meter with thermal coupler can reach nearly +/-1degC accuracy. This means I can only use the camera to find the hot spot, then attach a thermal coupler to measure the true temperature of the unit. Guess what? It doesn't offer thermal coupler measurement! Thermal sensor with thermal coupler is a common feature and Fluke should really add it to this tool.Because it has flaw on the most primary application of this tool. I have to knock out two stars from five starts.

Special Batteries
I would have given this meter a 5 star review but it takes special batteries. We all know that song and dance. This is a great value for the money as it covers several bases. I will say that the reporting on the back side of the fluke connect system is lacking. ITs a good meter with some good features at a decent price.

Great meter
Absolutely amazing meter. I don’t care about the reporting issues many complain about, it sinks to your phone which you can simply screenshot and email, store the photo, whatever the case might be.As a field technician I cannot begin to tell you the value of having a thermal imager built into a meter. It’s one less trip up and down a ladder for me. The batteries are kinda a bummer but I simply have a inverter in my van and put it on the charge between use.
