What is the difference between the Ultra & Ultra 2?

Our Arlo Ultra 2 cameras have all the same features as the original Arlo Ultra and more. Here are the additional features:
- Increased WiFi connectivity range - Arlo Ultra 2 has better range, so it can be placed farther from your SmartHub or base station;
- Dual-band WiFi - Arlo Ultra 2 camera can switch between 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz WiFi, depending on how far it is from the Arlo SmartHub or base station. This allows for optimized camera performance by balancing connectivity range and bandwidth:
- Arlo Smart trial with 4K - Arlo Ultra 2 camera comes with a 4K trial to Arlo Smart (3 months).

Question 2

Does the arlo ultra 2 save to the iCloud for a week then over ride ?

My understanding is each camera records for up to a maximum of 300 seconds, when a camera is triggered, which, depending on your contract with Arlo, is accessible for 30 or 60 days. Also please note my previous comment about needing a 20Mbps broadband upload speed for any chance of making anything work. I echo the comments made about the app.

If my wireless will be too far from one camera , it is working well with a base , hiub ?

The Arlo Ultra 2 camera model must be synced to an Arlo base station or SmartHub in order to function; it cannot be directly connected to a Wi-Fi network. The Arlo Ultra camera is compatible with the following Arlo base station and SmartHubs: VMB4000, VMB4500, VMB4540, and VMB5000.

We recommend placing your Arlo Ultra 2 camera a maximum of 90 meters from the SmartHub or base station; this distance is reduced by every wall, ceiling, or obstacle between the camera and the SmartHub or base station.
