However, it has had a multitude of updates in the two days I've had it thus far. No big deal. A solid computer for at-home/business use. Really like it.

Reasonably priced HP laptop with average quality. Not a high-powered laptop for gaming but good for basic internet use.

I think I have already reviewed this HP Pavilion computer. But I will do so again, as the little Amazon window popped up twice apparently. Unless I accidentally reviewed a different, earlier computer that I bought from Amazon. I've been pretty happy with the cheaper machines I've purchase through Amazon, but those tended to burn out in a year or two. They were on sale. I don't recommend buying a desktop computer on sale anymore, they tend to be gone and unusable after a short period of time. In my case, I use them an awful lot for social media, school, other things. So it may be overuse on my part. Still, I think the larger hard drives you get when you spend $1,000 or more on a desktop or laptop are a good idea. If you buy an on sale desktop computer, for example, you might get too small gigabytes of a hard drive, such as under one terabyte. Nowadays, you need at least one terabyte to keep it functioning. I don't know how long this new HP Pavilion is going to last, but it's working great so far as now.

If you value your sanity, and appreciate response times less than 120 seconds, DO NOT PURCHASE THIS POS. It comes loaded with useless software that can't be uninstalled, and there isn't any way to speed this worthless laptop up. I am going to buy a new laptop to replace this, and once I have everything restored from this laptop to the new one, I will be taking a f&%%#$ hammer to this one - I'VE NEVER HAD SUCH A HORRIBLE experience with a laptop and I've had many. I tried not to give it ANY stars above, but for some reason Amazon doesn't allow 0 star rating.

The media could not be loaded. I recently switched to HP after being an apple person and I love all of the HP products and the fact that you can buy it from Amazon is a plus. I have this in black and white. This is for my employees and it is a great price. It is not completely light weight but not too heavy. It is a great size and gets the job done especially for employees.

This computer cannot be expanded. I bought it as a travelling business system but a hidden file in one drive prevents expansion. HP support staff doesn't know this. It has two different memory systems, neither can be replaced. Not as fast as other brands in the same price range. Stay away from these Chinese computers!I used to own a computer systems house. Now long retired I spent two full days trying to install more memory. Even with HP help it was impossible. Stay away.

Thank you for the computer at a real good price---This computer is a gem, I always considered hp to be a very good deal and good laptop to work with. As of now, I have had no trouble. I use it for writing, once in a little while shopping, reading internet news, YouTube video songs, etc... It came with one year of technology support... In addition, I had to do my part: Buy the program to protect this computer against hackers---Anti-virus program...A million thanks,Laura :)
