Impressive Quality in a Vest
I had my eye on this vest for several months and finally purchased it. I photograph real estate so the vest is an integral part of my workflow by keeping many different parts of the photography process at hand, such as an extra flash unit, lens pens, extra batteries, and many other things. I was impressed at the quality of the build with very good stitching and also a way to adjust the waistline on each side of the vest. I like the color and also the weight of the vest. On cool days it's just right to help keep me warm while allowing for unrestricted movement of my arms as I work. On the first day that I wore it I got a compliment as soon as I got out of my truck and put it on. The realtor was impressed! I got the X-Large to make sure I have enough room to wear it over a jacket in cold weather. I will probably buy another vest exactly the same except in a large for when I am not wearing a jacket. Nice work on the vest with plenty of pockets, which provide plenty of places to put things and keep them organized.

BEST VEST
I started wearing vests daily (okay, they're like my man purse, deal with it) about two years ago and I've purchased half a dozen. The ones from Bean are great but expensive. This Foxfire vest is, hands down, the Vest Best. I like that it's all cotton. The workmanship is solid--stitching, zippers, pockets, everything. It fits right and feels great. The number and variety of pockets is over the top. I don't use that many pockets but if you need them, they're there. It does get a little comical sometimes when I can feel my cell phone but can't locate which pocket it's in. This vest also looks better than a shooting vest so I wouldn't mind wearing it on an airplane or to a garden party, if I was ever to be invited to a garden party. I'm writing this review unsolicited, unprompted. Just so happy to buy something that's worth what I paid for it.

Pockets of varying size and attractive color of textile
The pockets are of varying size, including at the lower inside lining where they can accommodate a smart phone, a very useful feature. Color "green" is rather like olive and attractive (not grass or Army green). Textile material should be a be sturdier in order to accommodate the content (like a smart phoneu). Price is reasonable for good workmanship.

Fox Fire Ultimate Vest - a utility vest
I ordered this vest for my husband who needs to wear a Life Vest after having a heart attack. It works great for carrying around the battery pack in the front pocket that is attached to the Life Vest. He loves it! Makes wearing the Life Vest a little easier. Material is lightweight cotton which makes it easier to wear indoors. Lots of pockets and great value for the money! So glad I found this for him!He is 5’11’. Weighs 190

It’s a throwback to the 1950’s African safari movies 🧥
Got this safari jacket for something to wear in the Northern California spring, summer, fall. Exactly what I wanted. Fit and finish are very good, color was as pictured, and all the fasteners seem to be heavy duty. Good heavy cotton material (according to my digital fishing scale it weights 1.3 lbs unloaded), there are seven (7) rows of stitching across the shoulders and where the back panels are joined, the seams should hold up to any weight being carried. The amount of cargo space is amazing. A ton of pockets, most with closures, good venting on sides and back. One should be able to carry a weekend change of clothes without a suitcase, or short flight or road trip. Good placement of some D ring and hanger straps for tethered items. Price is right on.

Perfect for travel overseas
My husband is diabetic and must travel with insulin, syringes, continuous glucose monitor, candy and other supplies. Plus he wears glasses for distance and another pair for close up. This vest is perfect for holding all those things plus wallet, passport phone and anything else he needs. XL is very room. Very good quality, lightweight and has no metal so will pass through TSA in airport. Thinking about purchasing one for me.

Sizes are smaller than normal
3x jackets and shirts fit me fine, but the 3x version of this vest wouldn't even close in the front. Unusable.I'd recommend people order a size larger than they think they need, and if you're 3X, just forget it and buy something else.

Pockets, pockets and more pockets!
This is my third vest similar to this design, not necessarily from the same seller/manufacturer. I like this style of vest because of all the pockets. When traveling I can carry all my important papers, passport, wallet, etc., safely secured in hidden zippered pockets. The pockets are a nice size. There is one on the chest that is perfect for my cell phone. The bellows pockets on the sides allow me to carry my camera and sunglasses case. There is a rear zippered pocket where I can carry a packable rain jacket. The front can be zippered closed or worn open with a cloth tab that snaps to the opposite side to hold the vest closed. The only drawback to this product is that it looks like a military/hunting vest. I tried several of the other travel vest products that are supposed to be dressier. I found them to be of lesser quality materials. The pockets were small for the most part. And they ran two sizes too small. The other quirk they had was that the zippers were on the wrong side. Weird but not a deal-killer. I returned them all and bought this one. I bought one size larger than I usually do this time as I will be traveling in cooler climates and wanted to be able to wear layers underneath. I recommend this product highly.
