Great quality & price for Big Kids
I haven't rollerskated in a least 15 years. I have been debating on whether or not I should get a pair for at least a year now and I'm so glad I decided to go for it. I wear a size US11 in women's shoes and my feet are on the wide side. I ordered these in the Mens 10/Womens 11 and they are perfect. I don't wear thick socks, but there would be enough room for them, not sure I'd wear these with thin fashion socks unless I included an insert to stop slipage. I'm also a big kid, so they will definitely support you if you are over 300lbs and worried about quality. The wheels are for indoor surfaces, which is good since I'm practicing inside first on my hardwood floors until my protective gear arrives. These arrived super fast, and well packaged. I'd say they are worth every penny. Very glad I got these and hope more big kids, like me, get over their fear and just go have some fun!

Love these skates... NOTE - Size runs a little big.
I used these for the first time today, and LOVE them!!! I'm trying to get back into roller skating for some much needed exercise that I can do with my youngest daughter. I wanted to go retro, like the skates I wore back in the 80's. These look and feel great!! Love, Love, Love! My only issue is the sizing. (not really an issue, but just to make you aware) Any shoe I have ever bought (US sizing) Women's sizes are two less than a man's size. Example: A Men's size 6 = Women's size 8. On these however they say a Men's 8 is = to a Women's 9. I can tell you these are definitely not a Women's 8. I generally wear a Women's 8 1/2 to a 9 depending on the shoe. So with all that said, these feel a bit too big, but a size smaller would be too small. With thick socks, and / or thin ankle supports, these fit great, and I still have just a little room in the toe. (I hate cramped toes!) Highly Recommend.

Good beginner skates
I got these skates for my son who is still learning but needed his own skates and not the rink rental skates anymore. They are affordable, considering he will outgrow them in a year or two. I was told to order a size up to give some room to grow and they fit well. They do scuff very easily in the toe area and that is why I took off a star. He seems to like them after using them at the rink for the first time. They are very popular skates, especially for beginners and children. I would recommend them for beginners.**Update** My son likes these skates. However, the toe area has scuffed badly after only two times at the skating rink. Even though they have room for him to grow, I am not sure the boot will last that long. I may have to order toe scuff protectors if they even have those for these skates.

Awesome skates
I bought these skates on a whim hoping they’d be what I want/need. I read some reviews saying they replaced the wheels on these to skate outside, but I use them as is and they have been perfectly fine for me. I’m no professional and am still learning, but the wheels have been good on parking lots, pavement, and sidewalks. They are also relatively light weight which is nice for transporting, but also for skating. I am definitely enjoying these skates. Normally I wear a 7-71/2 shoe, I order the 6 and they fit perfectly (well just slightly bigger but nothing thick socks can’t fix). Would recommend these if you’re a beginner like me

Very cheaply made and uncomfortable
Bought these for my boyfriend. The skates are very cheaply made and uncomfortable. The boot is too stiff and feels like stiff cardboard. It's thin, stiff, and hard, so it doesn't flex -- it crimps or buckles at flex points. The second time he wore them (indoor only), the boot started developing and rigid "V" on top of the foot that put painful pressure into the boney parts of the top of foot. Another reviewer shared photos that had the same exact issue. There is virtually no padding anywhere, not even in the sole. The truck is plastic and flexes downward significantly when a 255 lb man puts pressure to push off. I've adjusted the skate (wheels and trucks, loosened/tightened the shoe strings in a variety of ways). The issue is with the skate itself and is the overall stiffness of the boot. (See photos of the buckling.)Also, the wheels are extremely grippy. The hard wheels combined with the deep ridges on the wheels causes the skates to corner very stiffly -- but there is a significant side to side flex. He had only worn the skates 4 times, and only indoors. The side to side flex (like if you hold your foot down on the ground and lean your weight left to right) is so significant that, even with the truck bolts tightened all of the way, the wheels are already grinding wear spots into the plastic on the bottom of the plastic plate under the boot on both feet above both sides of the front wheels. It is also grinding the wheels where they make contact. (See photos.)Sizing: The skates we received are not oversized like other reviewers stated. In my experience, most skates are about half a size or one full size smaller than shoe size, which is consistent with most of the reviews on here, but it was not the case in the skates we received. He swears size 10 shoes and I bought size 11 skates. They are too narrow for a men's size 10 foot and even with the laces completely out, the skates are too narrow around the ball of the foot, just before the toe area. (Not enough room for the height of his foot.)Overall the look, feel, and quality are more like that of cheap skates you can buy at Walmart for $35, and does not match the reputation of Pacer standards and expectations.I do not recommend these skates at all. Perhaps they might work better for a light weight child, but not a grown man.

Awesome skates
I am 36 & have always loved skating. I got these to skate on the sidewalk while walking my dog and when I take my son skating. They work great indoors & outdoors. I love these skates! They look good & are comfortable. I wear a women’s shoe size 8.5 & I got a size 7 in these skates. At first I thought they were too big but once I skated in them a few times, they actually fit perfect!
