Does exactly what I needed.
Put this on my XR400 with the stock stator so I could switch to all LED lights. Works great. Used a 2AH battery I got from Amazon as well, and so far it hasn't overcharged it. Was a bit worried about that. I like the delay off feature. Mine stays on for about 20s after I shut off the bike. Easy to install, small enough to easily find a place for it. Does what I needed. There is another model that has instead of the delay off relay it has a slow charge "blue" lead, for small batteries. Maybe I should have gotten that one, but I didn't see it until after I bought and installed this one. But, I see TT has this regulator they sell with a battery similar to the one I bought, so they must think it will be ok. Hope so. Working perfectly so far (3 rides).

Works Great!
This product works great. I'm only using it as a standard regulator/rectifier for a keyed DC system, so I'm not using and haven't tried the delayed shut-off relay. I've had issues with a couple previous regulator/rectifiers going bad on my dual sport kit, and while they looked similar to this one, they were not branded as Trail Tech. This unit keeps the voltage regulated to a steady 13.8-14.2 V regardless of engine speed and I have an upgraded 150W Ricky Stator stator unit on my 96 XR250.Overall I'm very pleased with this product and hope that it will last many years. Please note that at least at this time the picture has not been updated to the correct model. The picture is from a 7003-RR150. The 7004-RR150 is similiar but adds an delayed shut-off relay for systems without switches for the lights. Here is the Trail Tech link for the actual unit [...]

Worked as advertised
There are less expensive reg\recs but trail tech is the best I have used. Used on banshee street bike conversion.

Trail Tech R/R
Seems solid. Good instructions. Too large for my KTM, had to modify to fit in same area as OEM R/R. Trail Tech couldn't/wouldn't provide the connector to mate to the stock wiring.

Excellent!
This is an excellent product from Trail Tech. Very high quality, great customer service with accurate wiring diagrams. It is compact in size so it worked well on my two stroke dual sport project and is holding up to off-road riding abuse well.

Came defective.
I installed this on a scooter and it does not work. I installed the same one on another scooter that did work. I guess quality control is not good.

Is dank
Wired a dirtbike for dual sporting with this, totally worth dropping the duckets on it. Keeps headlights much more stable at idle. Being able to set voltage so easily allows for much more options in battery and battery health.Never tried delayed battery shutoff feature, but it has it if you want to look mad cool when you walk away from it at a gas station. Only reason I can think that feature exists.
