Great for use near my heat treat oven
I wear this when heat treating knives. I have had people tell me it is overkill, but I have had unexpected drops and splashes with quenching oil and heated knives. Definitely feels solid, but I would not expect this to hold up to slag or red hot metal.

Just burned holes in it with a grinder
What can I say I used this with my angle grinder and afterward noticed it now has holes in it, I didn't have the grinder that close either. Stick with my good cowhide leather one from now on!
