Voicework with good psychotherapeutic basis
I'm studying the use of voice in psychotherapy and I've either found many books about voice and music therapy with little depth regarding why and how that work is therapeutic, or psychotherapy books that do not take into consideration the use of music and the attention to the voice as a powerful therapeutic tool. This book is one of the few that pays full attention to both parts: voice and psychotherapy. The psychoterapy part makes a good description of many therapy-related subjects that are relevant to a vocal psychotherapist: countertransference, trauma theory, Jungian archetypes, etc.
