Economical bathroom cabinet
Cabinet was easy to assemble. Looks really good. Sturdy but do you understand it's made from particle board. Will be best to use for bathrooms with fewer people and if you're less traffic. Purchased from Amazon warehouse for half the price cabinet was fine but the box was damaged..

Adventures in shelving
First, let me say that I admire those people who could throw this thing together and toss it up on the wall in a short time. I was able to assemble it pretty quickly with only one-okay two-stupid mistakes that I was able to undo without too much trouble. Mounting it was going to be a challenge-I knew just where I wanted it but the studs weren't where I needed them to be (they never are). I weighed the completed assembled unit (about 11 pounds) and walked over to my local hardware store to for advice on the best mounting screws. I showed them the sketch of the unit on the cover of the assembly instructions. They told me I absolutely needed to attach it to the studs. Day 2- I decided to buy 2 more corner brackets to attach the unit to the stud, and 2 anchor screws to mount the unit to the hollow wall on either side. The stud is about 5" from one end of the shelf-not a useful location at all. I hammered into the stud at the inside of the top and the inside of the shelf behind the door. No problem with the top hole-the bottom hole hit an Immovable Object and bent the nails, but I was able to use a shorter screw and attach the thing to the stud. The right anchor screw went in-no problem. The left one pulled out of the wall. (Miraculously, the unit is level.) I gave up and put the receipt from the hardware store on the kitchen table, determined to call them the next morning and ask for a referral to a handyman to put the thing up. (If he wanted too much money I could donate the shelf to charity.) Day 3-During the night, it occurred to me that I didn't remember how to use anchor screws (I bought them loose in at the hardware store instead of in a little box with instructions.) I tried once more, this time inflating the anchor before I mounted the unit. All was going well until the screw was almost all the way in-then the anchor pushed INTO the wall. It was time for a "girl" solution. I pulled the screw out so the unit was flush with the wall, then I wrapped plastic-coated wire (twist ties) around the exposed part of the screw. Success!By the way, the reviewer who suggested taking the doors off when mounting the shelf to the wall was right on.The shelf is the perfect size for where I needed it. It is not that well made, but a good value for the money. It is day 4, and it is still on the wall where I left it. I will fill the shelves with lightweight stuff that won't be destroyed or too skeevy if accidentally launched into the toilet bowl.In conclusion-it's a nice shelf, but if you are not handy, don't try this at home. My next project will be crocheted.

Great for small space, lacks durability, tips to install
This is a great cabinet for particular circumstances: very small spaces and short term or infrequent use (rental or guest bath). Be aware that the back of the cabinet is made of literal cardboard, which is thinner than the box it shipped in, and has no waterproofing. You can't clean it, you can't let it get splashed, and it damages easily. I still give it 4 stars because in all other regards, it has been perfect for my needs. It fits wonderfully in a very tiny half bath - it projects only 5.5 inches from the wall. This was incredibly cheap, and yet it looks quite nicely designed from the exterior. Some notes on assembly: be prepared to take your time putting this together and be patient with the parts. Unlike other reviewers, I did not need to drill any new holes. But I did notice the bottom shelf had superfluous holes underneath. All the pre-drilled holes fit the hardware well enough. Be careful hammering the nails into the cardboard back - once you start there's no going back and it needs to align perfectly. Once you get to door assembly, install them with the cabinet in standing position and first attach all the door hardware loosely - this will enable you shuffle the doors up/down/back/forth, slowly tightening the screws only when everything is evenly aligned. It's not easy, but doable. I highly recommend buying your own doorknobs - this greatly improves the look (the ones it comes with are the cheapest plastic imaginable).Since I had to install mine on plaster and lath walls, I attached the wall mounts in the center and screwed them both directly into a stud in the wall. (That worked easily, and I love that it only weighs 11 pounds when empty.)
