We have a messy dog and I remember we had one when I was younger. I t is much easier to get it out and clean up the mess than dragging out my big vacuum. I like that it comes with a bristle cleaner to aid in emptying. It is great for in between vacuuming. I had a heavier Hoover one years ago, and this one is lightweight and still a good little helper for my old, arthritic self. I like not having to lug out the vacuum cleaner every few days. We have a small cabin on some off grid property. It is partially wood floor and partially rugs. With the two of us and an 80# German shepherd going in and out, a lot of dirt/leaves get tracked in.
