Excellent product
Let's start with my dislikes, (1) there are sharpenels left in thread so you'll to pull them out before installation. Since 304 is not magnetic so you'll need be extra careful not to back up debris into the valve. (2) Once the lever is cranked for the first time, it's no longer opening to full port. Straight out of the box, my 1" valve opens at 15/16", once cranked it backed down to 7/8" and lever does not seat perfectly 90 degree at close and 0 degree at open. I have compulsive disorder so I don't the visual look. Hence, reason for taking off one star. (3) One out of 4 valve was leaking at the stem so I tightened the 16mm nut. Tips so you don't make the same mistake as I've done. This applies to every ball valve, whenever you have leak at the stem only turn the nut by 1/8 of a turn then wait 2 mins to see if you are still leak then keep moving another 1/8 of a turn. I got impatient, cranked 1/2 turn urgh now the lever got stiffen not smart you don't get a second chance by undoing it's a one shot moving forward so I ended up going 3/4 turn to stop leaking. Remember to go only go 1/8 of a turn, be patient there is a nylon underneath that is keeping the stem from leaking so you don't want to over turn or stem becomes too hard to turn. Here are my likes. This is actually an outstanding high quality product. Lead free. It comes with deep thread, weight in at 472g, about twice the weight of cheaper brands and the thread is about 3/8" longer with big beefy handle. See my second photo I have them seating side by side. Even with one stem over tightened, it's still way smoother than cheaper brand that is haft the price. To anyone who were complaining about leak at thread, yes it will leak if you use cheap white PTFE tape. Reason is simple, cheap tape has low density when contacting sharp thread it will get torn apart. For reference, my municipal water pressure is measured at 140 PSI which is extremely strong. They leak the first time but it was operator's error so now I know. To save everyone the hassle, you'll need to pick up a roll of big blue monster PTFE tape and some food grade silicone lubes. You don't need to tape then dope for diameter smaller than 1-1/4" for water transport. For natural gas - YES always regardless of sizing!. That's what I did and now I have zero leak. Using big blue monster, wrapped 5x clockwise then lube up with food grade silicone. Installation was silky smooth. I'm actually against tape then lube for water because taking them apart in the future is going to be a pain. Your lube will gunk up the thread, it will not release unless you heat it up with a blow torque. I just don't like messing with fire so be smart - okay? No DON'T use this valve for natural gas, I don't trust it what if it leaks at the stem? And no a roll of big blue is actually cheaper than you think because one roll is about 3x the length of cheaper white tape. They actually work out to 3 pennies as opposed to 6 pennies per foot.

Operates smoothly and well finished
I used this valve as a main water shutoff outside my house. It looks nice and operates smoothly while shutting off leak free. Users are advised to use a liquid sealing compound such as Oatey "Great White" when using with PVC or CPVC fittings. From experience, Teflon tape is unreliable and will likely result in external leaks.

Leaks at the shaft
I've had to remove the handle for the 3rd time to tighten the packing gland nut so tight that it's hard to turn off and on. Only in use for 2 days. Less than impressed.
