Used this to tune a 2009 Triumph Daytona 675, and it works exactly as it should.

This doesn't work for vcds so if that is th3 program you are looking to use with this, don't buy it

Showed up on time. Cable was very-well packaged and arrived as advertised. As with every other blue VAG-KKL cable I have purchased in the past I popped the OBD connector apart to verify that the chipset was FTDI 232RL which it is. This is not the case with basically all of the other VAG-KKL cable vendors who claim that the FTDI 232RL chipset in integrated into the cable but this is usually a lie (CH340 instead) so it's refreshing to see a vendor being honest about their product. Installation process was simple in both Windows 10 Pro (x64) and Windows 11 Pro (x64). Vendor sends an e-mail containing detailed installation instructions for a handful of different cases. I had the drivers installed and cable ready to go in about 5 minutes. If you've set things up correctly you should see something similar to the third picture I've included of the devices related to the cable are highlighted in green. I did a quit test just to verify that the cable is recognized and active which it is . Disregard the FAIL as it is unrelated to the cable. If you jsut want to read the codes then I would urge that you purchased a different cable or go to Autozone instead. If you're looking to do some logging and other such activities then this cable is what you need.

My experience is exactly the same as the review by Vick Lagina for my Windows 11 installation.edit: I was able to get the cable to work with VCDS Lite, and now it works perfectly with it!

Bought it just for vcds lite, came early, installed the driver's and it worked just fine. I'm assuming most of these bad reviews are just dummies who don't know how to install driver's.Side note: I did try to use this on a tuning software, everything connected great but I wasn't able to read the file on the ECU, that could just be me, the ECU, or something with the cable. You decide overall it was worth the few dollars spent.

The product works great, only after hours of figuring out how to install the driver. For people who has trouble get it to work, just go to FTDI’s website and download the D2XX driver from there.

I did not need a driver installed it connected to tuning software on my b5 audi on windows 11

I have followed the instructions several time the software does not install nor does the drivers it is a waste of money and time but then again you get what you pay for it may just be me but having a cd this the drivers and software is a better option in my opinion none of these downloads ever work I am very disappointed

Shipped quickly and was packaged well, item arrived sooner than expected and in good condition. Cable functions exactly as expected once drivers were installed. Other reviews state that Windows 7 32 Bit is required but it worked just fine on Windows 10 64 Bit. Also works with the most recent release of VCDS lite, both the free and paid versions. The same, or at least very similar, cable is available on ali-express or alibaba, and I know people who have had good experiences with those, and the price is considerably lower. However ordering off those sites comes with many drawbacks(shipping time, basically zero chance of a refund for a defective product or one that never arrives, etc etc.). If you want little hassle and your cable quickly, this is the one to buy.

Great product, works exactly as intended. Had to turn a security part of my laptop off for the driver to work but it's done everything I wanted.I have deleted error codes on the ecu and recalibrate my throttle body so that the car idles properly again.

This cable saved me hundreds of dollars. I had tried other brands before and none worked but, based on another customer's review this one seemed legitimate. On my Windows 10 computer this cable installed instantly once plugged in. It did not require any other download or driver. Also, I am happy to report it works flawlessly with RomRaider and my JDM 03 WRX ECU.

Despite some hesitation due to other reviews here I purchased this for my 2004 VW Jetta TDI. Having read the other reviews I was prepared with a 32 bit windows 7 VM on my laptop. Once I installed the drivers provided in the instruction manual it worked great. Works with VCDS Lite.

It has never connected to my brother's Audi. I've spent hours trying, but I've never gotten a data connection. It doesn't necessarily mean it's the unit. It could be the software and my computer. The vendor was somewhat helpful, but we still couldn't get it to go, and they ran out of ideas to get it going. These things happen.
