Q: Size 40 waist is what size?

I’m a size 46 waist and got the 4XL because I like my tracksuits with a little room in them but not baggy. The pans and jacket fit me just right! I’m not worry about the size 4XL on the tag, I just care it fits me right. My suggestion is if you like a little room when you wear your tracksuits like me go with the 3XL if you like them snug to your skin go with the 2XL. A XL I think might be to small or tight for you. If you half to do a return, Amazon makes it really simple. I processed the return on the Amazon App, put the tracksuits back in the same bag, took it to Kohl’s, they printed out a label and gave me a receipt. Then 24hrs later I ordered a bigger size. Also best shoes to wear with open bottom tracksuits are the Nike AF-1s. Hope this helps.

I would suggest go with a Large so it’s slightly loose on you and not snug on your body. Unless you like your tracksuits snug on your body. To me a tracksuit needs to be loose but not to loose, comfortable, and looks good. I would also suggest wear them with some Nike AF1s or something similar so you don’t drag the pants.
