You can't beat a Samsonite
You can't beat a Samsonite. If you can afford it, then definitely buy it. It lasts and most importantly, its castors always keep on working properly, unlike many others.

Good quality medium size soft spinner suitcase
Smart looking compact 4 x double-wheel Samsonite medium size suitcase. Holds about 18 kg of normal clothing so add 3 kg suitcase weight and you are ok for most airlines 23kg hold luggage weight limit. Combined with 10kg under-seat squashy bag that's good for 2 people for a 10 day holiday. Good, built-in security locking system (once you have figured out how to get at the instructions! see on-line reviews) and a handy retractable identity tag. Zips and dark colour materials are sturdy as is the base panel and wheels. Pull-handle feels lightweight when extended. Grab handles are provided on the top, side and base and all are good quality. Bit pricey compared to similar marques but I expect you get what you pay for.

Video demonstration
The media could not be loaded. When first receiving the Samsonite Spark SNG case I had to revert to Google and YouTube for a few minutes to work out what the default combination code was and how to open the case. Because Samsonite had neglected to give any information on the code and how to open the case on the exterior labels, but once opened I noticed annoyingly that the necessary instructions and information was locked inside of the case. The default code for Samsonite when it leaves their warehouse is 000, and to open the case you push firmly in on the Key lock section as this is a button. You do not receive a key with the case, As the key lock is solely for the TSA authorities in America who have a master key if they need to access your case. The information and instructions that were on the inside of the case tell you how to reset the combination code to your preference, which is very easy to do. The case itself is very light weight weighing in just over 3 kg when empty, and with the four 360° rotating wheels makes it easy to manoeuvre. The telescopic handle has four locking positions and the side plus top carrying handles are cushioned for comfort. The case measures approximately 67 x 44 x 27 cm ( including handles, wheels, front pockets ), But when expanded then measures 67 x 44 x 31 cm approximately. The case has a security cable that threads through the two front pocket zips, Which locks back into the combination lock providing security for all compartments. There are four main compartment zips, which are two normal and two expansion zips that also lock into the combination lock. The inside of the case has your usual securing straps, A zipped mesh pocket that runs the length of the case, And a mesh pocket on the inside of the lid that unzips totally with securing straps inside. I have attached a video with this review to demonstrate all of the features of the case, but especially to show you how the case opens . I hope you have found my video and review helpful.

Instructions for unlocking need to be on the outside of the case. Samsonite take note please
This Samsonite Spark SNG Eco suitcase is really good and so it should be for £215 for the medium (67cm) sized suitcase (price correct at the time of writing this review). It's available in blue or black. I received the blue suitcase to reviewFirst impressions were wow when I saw it, my next immediate thought was "how the heck am I going to get into it". The suitcase was securely locked with the TSA approved lock but there was no instructions on how to get it unlocked and open the caseBack I went onto the sellers page and saw that other reviewers had the same problem, I went onto Google and found a few YouTube videos showing you how to unlock the case and change the combination. After faffing about trying 000 I managed to get it open, just don't ask me how, to this day I still don't know lol. So I think my number was actually 111 as the zeros were not in the middle. I'll be saving changing the code for another day lolOn opening the case at last. I found a card with instructions on, well done Samsonite! This information would have been better attached to the handle or in an unlocked front pocketThe case itself it brilliant and is a perfect size for my holiday later in the year. The wheels move about easily and freely, the handle goes up and down smoothly and the case is really well made and sturdyThe internal section has plenty of room for your clothes with a strap to fasten them down with, there's also another mesh pocket inside with straps. There are two external zipped pockets on the front and the case has a zip all around so that it can be extended if need be, handy for the journey home with all the souvenirs lolOn the majority of the features it's a resounding 5 stars, but I marked the lock down a bit as its fiddly to open and the instructions were not to be found until you opened the suitcase. Apart from that I love the suitcase and will recommend it
