Folks, I tested the CF-31 MK6 and looked over the specs in the BIOS, it was as advertised, I estimate in 2018 when this was new cost $6k, I paid 10% of that, it was worth it. Unheard of to find one of these Toughbooks with 32 gigabytes of memory. Must had been surpluses from LE, I see signs of use, but relatively speaking it like new. 8600 total hours and this machine has a 50,000 hour service life. Not saying the SSD in will last that long, but that's user defined maintenance. I am happy with the refurbished unit.

Great laptop.

This computer was listed "Like New", it is not. First issue was it was dirty, hard to clean areas. Scratched up a bit. It was listed as having Windows 10 Pro, it has 11 pro. I had to take it to IT dept & have the keyboard reprogrammed. The @ symbol & " symbol were swapped. The photo in the ad had the handle stylus displayed but came with none. I ordered one off amazon. Handy for the touch screen This was the same laptop I used in the Army. Easy to upgrade. Gripes aside, if you want a beast of a laptop, the Toughbook is the way to go. But bear in mind, it is 4x as heavy as my MacBook Air. But you can hook this up to anything, HDMI, USB, serial port...I got this for off road travel & safari.

I am very satisfied with this CF-31. It is renewed but you'd never know it. It's in pristine condition. As an added bonus it came with the detachable DVD/re-writeable drive. I purchased the backup battery seperate. The i5 is plenty fast for me as I'm not a gamer. The screen is not UHD but the brightness is nuts. 1200 nits. Screen is sensitive to touch and stylus works good. I got the 32g RAM 1tb ssd edition. It's very heavy but the canvas case it comes with makes my shoulder do the work. Having the ability to stick in an AT&T micro sim for service was awesome. Very satisfied.

Everything about the computer is what i was hoping very happy with it. the only this i would say is in the description it said in like new condition, i would say it in very good condition but no where in like new condition.

....Hello people!!!....!!! I can't begin to tell you how many laptops I have destroyed. The pervious 17" 'Girley' hotrod I purchased was loaded with all the bells and whistles.....I figured that was the last 'lapper' I should ever have to purchase. Well, the hinges went on that one, is no longer supported by the factory, no longer available in that configuration, etc. I finally saw the laptop in my son's 'Police Cruiser'...!!!! He introduced me to the 'Beast'!!!!! I immediately started to research and really liked the features, benefits availability of accessories, hardware, parts and all the reviews!!! So......!......I purchase a CF-31 loaded except for camera CAC and fingerprint reader. Hey!!!..... 'Katye Bar the Door' ... This is exactly what really fits my needs! It's like a comfortable and durable pair of work boots!!! I recently ordered a FJ RAM Vehicle mount and got me signed for 15 gig of dedicated unthrottled service for the 'Beast'...!!!! I'm looking at a SURECALL OTR package primarily for the amp and ANTENNA! I spend a lot of time in my FJ out in the 'Boondocks' and need it for various apps on my phone that the laptop doesn't support and the need of a laptop for programs my cell phone doesn't support!!!
