Bought this to secure a door, very good quality item, even came with a padlock, very happy to recommend

Just what I needed to secure a door. Seems quite sturdy

The hasp and staple are of good quality but the lock is not very sturdy

bought this to keep prying hands out it’s very good quality and you can’t unscrew it when it’s locked with i was initially worried about the lock itself is sturdy i’d use deeper screws but the ones that came are fine too it took like five minutes if that to put up and the padlock is good quality hard to lose the key when door isn’t lock as the key doesn’t leave the padlock when opened overall worth the purchase in my opinion

The mechanism itself is good, the lock is not for outdoor use.Please use your own screws the ones supplied are very poor quality.Two broke in the wood when inserting, had to relocate the whole lock.
