Wire terminals are only rated for 6 amps
Like other ACS712 modules that I've found on Amazon, the 30 amp rating is a joke. The ACS712 IC itself may handle 30A, but the wire terminals fit at most 16-18 gauge stranded wire and I believe they are only rated for 6A. I wouldn't recommend using these on currents over 6 amps.I did test them with a 14 gauge AC power plug, by soldering the wires to the bottom of the pins. The modules worked with an 8 amp load during a short test while I closely watched it, but I wouldn't trust it.I found some current sensors rated for 17A RMS AC at dfrobot, which look like they have wire terminals appropriate for the current. I can't find any similar modules through Amazon.

UNSAFE/AVOID
Will be returning since the product listing is a joke. Terminals are way too small for listed amperage. Unsafe.
