This pool alarm is impressive. It offers different settings to help prevent false alarms from an occasional twig, leaf or other small item. The volume of this alarm is incredibly loud! There's no way anyone in our rural neighborhood wouldn't hear our alarm if it gets tripped. It gives us peace of mind knowing that if a child or a small animal wanders into our pool while we're not outside, or possibly not even at home, we (our neighborhood) will know as soon as they fall, jump or land in/on the water. The alarms distinct sound distinguishes it from other types of alarms. This means it won't be ignored the way many car & other alarms have lost their effectiveness due to false alarm fatigue. It's simple to install, stays put until you take it off when you close your pool for the season.

Defective item. After finally putting it together—not easy to use—it sunk to the bottom of the pool repeatedly less than two months into use. Terrible. Would like my money back.

This is the best pool alarm I've purchased. The alarm float is in the funnel, so not every frog in the pool sets it off. I can skim the pool without setting it off, and if I'm removing major leaves from the bottom, I just set it on "swim".

It was difficult to get the sensitivity setting correct so the alarm would go off. But after about 15 minutes, the alarm sounded when we threw in pool toys. We thought it was working for a few weeks until one day an adult entered the pool without turning off the alarm. It did not go off. We re-adhered the alarm and tested it - it worked. But a few days later we entered the pool without disarming it and it did not go off.

Had to have help with install (uncle) since needed to drill into the concrete. Easy to turn on and off and store when pool closed. Meets our state and insurance requirements. Adequate portable indoor alarm unit. No small kids around and the pool is gated so didn't currently need a more portable/ visual capability on smart phone etc. unit - so this fit our needs. Good quality/good price.

The IC ICLOVER Pool Alarm arrived quickly and in great condition. The pool alarm instructions are straightforward and easy to understand. Setup of the alarm is easy. Monitoring the alarm is functional and works well. Installation of the alarm is quick and easy to do with simple tools. I tested it and it worked right away. The pool alarm is a comfort to have in place.

our edge is 8inches wide and this didn't fit.

This pool alarm is not compliant with town regulations for alarms, so if you need to pass an inspection you are wasting money also this item has no brand, manufacturer info or any type contact info. The only brand is POOL ALARM on the box. Good luck trying to read the instructions, with the typos. Don't put your kids safety on this people's hands.
