Q: what is acidity level of this coffee, please

I get acid reflux with acidic coffee, this was fine in that respect. Quite a mild coffee in fact, not quite strong enough for my taste, even with the bean to cup machine at Max strength. If you like a mild coffee this may be ok for you

It doesn’t say on the package where it was manufactured, however it’s very nice beans and has the recent rostering dates.

"Coffee arabica is now rare in ethiopia"? No it isn't! That's a misleading statement as most Ethiopian coffee is arabica. It doesn't matter if it's from Shashamene (yegacheffe) or Jimma they are all arabica. The difference in regional tastes is down to the soil the plants grow in, with Harar coffee being a mocha flavour (a slight chocolatey taste whereas most others have a lovely earthy flavour. Also FYI, the best quality beans rarely leave Ethiopia but I do always have a good supply of green beans to roast myself. In Ethiopia, the best quality bean is known locally as "export quality" but it doesn't get exported. Additionally, Ethiopia does not have "cultivated" coffee plants with much coffee actually coming from people's gardens in small quantities. A few years back I rented a house for four months and in the garden was coffee, the biggest and juicest mangoes, huge papyas, spices unknown to the western world and righfully so, corn and many hers. It was just a typical Ethiopian garden. A friend aslo has pomegranites in her garden, the size of a small football. The mountains are not only litteres with coffee but the southern Oromia region has mountains full of wild bananas that tase far superior compared with the tasteless GM South American ones. Ethiopia has never needed to and never will use cultivated plants and trees as one is even afraid to drop any seed on the ground there as it's so fertile. A papya tree can go from seed to fully grown and fruiting within 18 months. Any Ethiopian coffee is 100% natural and 100% organic.
