Unfortunately, the accumulated stress took its toll: sleep became shallow and intermittent. Lack of sleep triggered even more stress, so I had to take a radical solution.I drink this half an hour before bed, fall asleep quickly and sleep all night (at least 8 hours). If for some reason I wake up at night, I quickly fall asleep again. A great solution! My heart calmed down (from stress I learned where it is located on me, lol). Yes, I feel a little sleepy in the mornings, but this is still the winter-spring period with long nights. If I go outside, it is refreshing wonderfully.Yes, the taste is bitter. If someone is very bothered by this, you can put it in an empty capsule and drink it like that.

I have to admit that these work as far as getting some sleep but the problem for me is that they work too well for too long. I took one at 10 p.m. and still felt very sleepy the next morning and got up 2 hours later than usual. For the rest of the morning and into late afternoon, I had to fight to keep my eyes open and finally gave in around 3:30 p.m. and napped until 6 p.m. No box came with the bottle for information on the product or side effects to watch out for, etc.

Just have a tablet works for me!

I have been taking these for years - half a pill each night. For some reason, the pills in this bottle do not have the indented line where you can evenly break the tablet in two. So far, I have been breaking into very uneven pieces! Not a huge deal, but I will try another brand next time.

Take with a strong-ish flavored drink cause its that standard yuck pill taste. But works.To add : I took these a lot. Almost daily for a bit and eventually it didnt work as well as it used to. So I stopped taking them daily and only a few times a week and i added melatonin and took that daily with and without kirland sleep aid.These are if you cant shut off. These are not to make your eyes sleepy. Tho it can do that. Its more to relax your body and mind to ease you into sleep.Def get Melatonin. Thats what makes our eyes sleepy.Being tired & being sleepy are not the same.
